Today we were invited to check out the new Two Bit Circus in the Arts District, opening this September, as a potential stop on the tour. This Instagrammer’s catnip is gonna be big, I see many a special birthday being celebrated here. In this travel economy of “experiences” the new permanent home of Two Bit Circus has got some substance behind its flashy fun exterior.
They’ve asked me to keep a few of their secrets under wraps til they get closer to opening, but what I won’t keep under wraps is the great work they already do with kids and schools. Two Bit Circus has a foundation that has been aiding in STEM education for quite some time already, and the new venue will be hosting regular learning experiences for young people in addition to a rip-roaring good time for adults. As a teacher and tour operator, this is totally in my wheelhouse! So don’t feel guilty about dropping a hundo trying out their games, experiences and robot bartender. Supporting this new business in the Arts District is supporting STEM education. You might think you’re in the coolest bar and restaurant in LA, but simultaneously you’re in a learning lab too.
