Dads are the hardest to buy for. Much like moms, what they really want is a little quality time with their kids. Why not do something you’ll both enjoy, and take a bike tour together? My own Dad was a bit of a workaholic, and never really wanted to do much other than watch football on his days off. A few years ago I invited him on a cycling trip, not really expecting him to say yes. But he did say yes, and we had such a good time it brought us closer together, and started him off on a mid-life hobby that has added years to his life. This may or may not happen if you take a bike tour in Los Angeles, but what will happen is you’ll spend an enjoyable day together, and tackle some good eats at our home base in Grand Central Market, plus create a memory, the best gift of all.
