It’s time for my annual Rose Bowl post. I’m not a big football fan, but I love the Tournament of Roses, the official name of the Rose Parade. Check out our previous posts for Tips and Tricks for the Rose Parade, or how to get a private float viewing.
Pasadena is a lot of fun. You can hit Colorado Blvd for shopping and dining. Halloween(the movie) fans can check out South Pasadena where most of the movie was filmed, and snap a pic in front of Micheal Myers house. It’s also just a cute place to visit. Of course everyone will tell you to check out Huntington Gardens and Library, totally worth it, and plan to spend a few hours there, the gardens are vast, and the library full of ancient texts.
An easy side trip is Downtown L.A. Which is where we come in. You can take out Downtown Los Angeles Bike Tour and see all of downtown L.A.’s top attractions in under half a day. Since we run our tours from Grand Central Market, you can have breakfast or lunch there, and both the tours and the market are great for groups. We’re on the A-Line, which goes right from downtown Pasadena to downtown Los Angeles.
We get a lot of folks out on the tours in town for the big game and are looking forward to seeing Oregon Ducks fans and either Tennessee or Ohio fans. Come ride with us on a Handlebar Bike Tour.
