There’s a lot going on in downtown Los Angeles for the holidays. Union Station throws down the gauntlet with decorations; and this year, a new addition with Cocoa Concert Series Friday nights in December, starting at 6:30. Combine this with a trip to the new Imperial Western Beer Company in the old Fred Harvey space, or maybe a hot toddy at Streamliner. Definitely check out Olvera Street’s classic manger scene with beautiful wood carvings in the plaza. Next stroll over to Grand Park for Winter Glow, an immersive, light show. Pershing Square’s skating rink is up and running, and you can also skate at LA Live, with its 50 foot tree plunked smack dab in the middle of the LA Kings rink. Everything but the skating is FREE, our favorite four letter word. The holidays it turns out is a busy season for us, and we already have a few sold out tours in December, so if you’re coming to town for the Rose Bowl, and you’re looking to check out DTLA with us, book now! We’re also launching Gift certificates this year. Experiences make memories, and memories are the best gift of all. See you on the streets.
