1. Welcome to Handlebar Bike Tours
By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Tour Bookings and Payments
All tour bookings are processed through our secure booking partner, Xola. By booking a tour, you agree to Xola’s payment terms and our specific refund policies.
- Reservations: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
- Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.After 24 hours prior the full tour price will be forfeited. To reschedule, use the link provided in your confirmation email.
- No-Shows: No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of the tour start time are non-refundable — the full tour price will be forfeited.
- Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, we will do our best to rebook you on one of the next 3 available tours at no charge, subject to availability. Please email us to arrange this.
- Weather Cancellations: Tours will not operate if the temperature exceeds 95°F or in the event of rain. In these cases, full refunds will be automatically issued. Check your email for updates.
3. Safety and Conduct
Your safety is our priority. All Handlebar Bike Guides are experienced city cyclists, First Aid certified, and follow strict safety protocol. By participating in a Handlebar Bike Tour, you agree to:
- Follow the instructions of your tour guide at all times.
- Comply with all local traffic laws and regulations.
- Wear a helmet (provided by us, or bring your own) throughout the duration of the tour.
- Maintain a safe and respectful attitude toward other participants and pedestrians.
- Be a minimum of 12 years of age. Our bikes are full-sized and not suitable for younger children.
- Have a baseline level of cycling experience. Our tours are not appropriate for beginning riders.
4. Liability Waiver
All participants are required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement before starting a tour. Biking involves inherent risks, and by joining us, you acknowledge and assume these risks. Handlebar Bike Tours is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from participation in our tours.
5. Tour Descriptions and Routes
We strive to be as accurate as possible with our tour descriptions, durations, and routes. However, routes may change due to construction, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to modify tour paths for the safety and enjoyment of our guests.
6. Intellectual Property
The content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Handlebar Bike Tours and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our written permission.
